Researchers undertaking MBI work

Research organisations

Many research and educational institutions are helping directly and indirectly to implement and develop market-based instruments (MBIs). In particular educational institutions are:

  • Helping to coordinate research and develop programs that will assist in delivering MBIs.
  • Provide technical information and methods from research and implementation for MBIs to regional natural resource management groups, land managers, industry peak bodies and the public.
