The Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority is currently rolling out their second Wetland Tender (2011–12), following the success of the 2010–11 tender. The project area is based around the highest concentration of wetlands on the plains of the catchment (see Map 1).

The program uses the Victorian metric systems to score site condition and actions by means of the Index of Wetland Condition and EnSym. Target wetland types include redgum wetlands, cane grass wetlands, billabong aggregate wetlands, plains grassy wetlands and spike-sedge wetlands.
