The Designer Carrots market-based instruments (MBI) training package is aimed at a range of participants from regional natural resource management (NRM) group officers to government policy officers and relevant industry sector members who either use or are in the position to use MBIs as a tool for NRM.
The objectives of the course are to:
- consider the attributes and appeal of MBIs
- identify situations where MBIs may be appropriate
- learn by doing
- define, choose, design and review MBIs
- build a common language for MBIs
- network and share, to begin to build a community of practice.
